Dam Lines
Mares out of well-bred dam lines with secured hereditary qualities are our most supreme good. International successful sport and breeding horses are not produzed by chance, but has been the result of methodically bred dam lines and our knowledgeable breeding experience over many years.
The Hanoverian dam lines traditionally form the main focus of the our jumping breeding. We maintain also old Oldenburger lines and successful Holsteiner dam lines. Very important for us is an accumulated sport and breeding performance in the first three generations and an outstanding jumping pedigree of the forefathers.
Hanoverian Dam Lines
The Hanoverian breed offers a particularly wide range of first-class dam lines that regularly deliver excellent competition horses for the different disciplines, licensed stallions and valuable brood mares. The family of Callonia by Calypso II out of the dam line of Jali has greatest significance for us, because our approved stallions Embassy I-III and a lof of international showjumpers are descended from her. These horses impress with willigness to perform, intelligence, jumping capacity and caution. Also the daughters of Watina by Wendelin out of the Hanoverian line of Aslaug are important cormerstones of our breeding. They deliver sporthorses with amazing talent for jumping and dressage and top character. The numerical small dam line of Juliushütte gives us light riding horses with a lot of skill and caution at the jumps like the broodmare Sweet Salü PJ by Silvio I out of Comtess by Calypso II and daughters. Evian by Escudo I, her offspring and more than 30 approved stallions and several sporthorses with a lot of jumping potential are out of the line of Norm. The other Escudo I daughter Evita and her licensed brothers Eremias by Escudo I and Gem of India by Graf Grannus (John Whitaker) come from the line of Schwersella. She delivers Hanoverian showjumpers with potential and willigness to perform, too. Grease and her offspring descend from Königsaue. She has long-legged, impressive descendants with best rideability and great jumping capacity like the famous Hanoverian stallion Frusta II.
Furthermore we use mares out of the famous line of Fairness III and of Hornburg and Hoseka for breeding.
Holstein Dam Lines
The list of dam lines is of great importance in Holsteiner breeding since the early 19th century. Each family has a line number who is an essential source of information for her breeding performance. We are successful with two Holsteiner damlines: The broodmare Conny by Contender - Sandro - Cor de la Bryere - Ramiro decends from line 318 D2. She is full sister to the approved stallions Chello I-III and half sister to Castelan I & II by Casiro I. More than 50 other lisenced stallions like Coriano, Corofino I & II and Diarado plus several international showjumpers are out of this Holsteiner family. Conny herself pruced already several approved stallions. Her offspring are eyecatchers with a lot of jumping capacity. The mare Rena by Carneval - Flamberg - Nautilus xx is out of the line 7020 and granddam of the Hanoverian sires El Bundy I & II by Escudo I. Her offspring impress with top jumping talent paired with best rideability. International showjumpers - for example Caldato who won under Hugo Simon Grand Prix competitions - and approved stallions come out of this damline, too.
Oldenburger Dam Lines
Also in the Oldenburger horse breeding the mares play an important role. The dam lines were cared over generations by the breeders and thereby they are the basis for a sustainable and successful breeding. The noble type of sport horeses was established after the second world war by crossing of Anglo-Norman, Anglo-Arabian and thoroughbred. Also our Oldenburger mare Asulina by Achill-Libero H - Calypso II - Furioso II had Arabian blood. Her line originates from the mare Bijou x by Inschallah AA out of Bagieta by Serval. She was paired with the Anglo-Norman Furioso II, a son of the thoroughbred Furioso xx. Therefore, the mare line of Asulina has a high proportion of a blood which bears the spirit, the performance and the strength of its offspring.
